During the month of September, we held our first charity event titled “Exploring the Frontiers of Psychedelic Medicine”, featuring renowned researcher and Harvard PhD Rick Doblin, a global pioneer in the field of psychedelic medicine and founder of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS).
During the conference, Rick Doblin shared his vast experience in psychedelic research, highlighting the positive impact these treatments are having on modern medicine. David Nissman, a renowned attorney, also joined the conversation to discuss the legal framework surrounding controlled substances in Puerto Rico. This conversation not only has the potential to transform the quality of life for thousands of people, but it could also serve as a positive channel for the economy through innovation in the healthcare sector.
In addition to raising awareness about the transformative power of psychedelic medicine, the event also served as a platform to support Pravan Foundation’s mission to provide access to innovative treatments for those facing mental health challenges on the island. By supporting this cause with their donations, attendees helped transform lives, contributing to the creation of a healthier and more resilient future for Puerto Rico.
